NAD+ is in the catalogue, but it is not a peptide

A clear classification prevents misleading comparisons.

A clear classification prevents misleading comparisons.

Different chemistry

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NAD+, is a coenzyme, not a chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds. It belongs in cellular metabolism research, but a peptide-purity description or sequence test does not describe its identity. The analytical specification should fit the molecule actually being supplied.

What a cell study means

Investigators have studied the metabolism of extracellular NAD+ and related intermediates in HEK293 cell cultures. That experiment addresses a defined cellular question. It does not establish benefits from a retail material or validate a particular format.

Research takeaway

List NAD+ clearly as a separate research material and use molecule-appropriate batch tests, not generic peptide claims.
