BPC-157: separating cell findings from broad claims

A narrow experimental result should remain a narrow conclusion.

Published 30 September 2026

A narrow experimental result should remain a narrow conclusion.

A specific model

One study investigated BPC-157 in tendon fibroblasts isolated from rats and measured growth-hormone-receptor expression. That is an experimental finding in a defined cell system. It is not evidence that a supplied research vial will repair a human tendon or treat a condition.

Questions before interpretation

Check the identity of the tested material, the experimental model, controls and measured endpoint. If another study uses animals or a different cell type, its result belongs to that model. Headline claims often merge different levels of evidence, so the original methods and limitations matter more than a promotional summary.

Research takeaway

MC10 presents BPC-containing material for in-vitro research; the cited study does not establish a clinical use.
